“Sometimes a race is just the excuse. What truly defines the journey is what happens after.”
When Santiago arrived in Girona, it was clear he wasn’t just here to race — he came to connect, to explore, and to grow. Before tackling the 200 km challenge at The Traka, we sat down over a coffee to go through some final tips and share a few insights on the event.
We reviewed the route, discussed strategies, and added some local recommendations. We wanted him to feel at home in a place that has become home for us.

On race day,
we gave him a bit of backup support — cheering at feed zones, snapping a few photos mid-race, and sharing words of encouragement when it mattered most. There was no formal agreement — just a shared understanding between riders who know what it means to push your limits far from home.
Day 1 – Banyoles and the Calm After the Storm
After crossing the finish line and letting the fatigue settle, we shifted gears. The first recovery ride took us to Banyoles, where the lake reflects the peaceful side of Girona and the Pyrenees stand watch in the background. Here, everything slows down — the rides, the thoughts, even the coffee.
Day 2 – Into the Wild North
From Figueres, we traced gravel paths deep into the “Dali territory”. No crowds, no noise. A small town to refill, eat some Catalan cheese and bread. Long climbs, winding descents, and the kind of solitude that clears the mind and strengthens the legs.
Day 3 – The Southern Costa Brava & a Gentle Goodbye
To wrap up, we rode along the southern Costa Brava, where the mood turns softer and the cafés are just as important as the roads. It wasn’t about watts or pace anymore. It was about soaking in the culture, the food, and the feeling of having truly ridden Girona.
Looking back, The Traka was just the spark. What followed was something deeper — a connection to place, to people, and to purpose.
We’re here to create that same kind of journey for others. Whether you’re racing, riding, or just dreaming — let’s build a tour around you.
Let’s ride. Let’s explore. Let’s create your story.
